[Shotimes] Metal gasket?

You got it. Thin, aluminuminum ;^), between the engine (bolts to the
oil pan, I think) and the ATX.

I ain't got no clutch, though. What else would I have to remove to
change this? I appears (just by glancing at it) that it would come out
with the oil pan off.

Thanks.

Thin, probably aluminum? Looks like it might be a shim or dust shield?
Goes between the engine and tranny? That the one you mean?

I'm thinking you might need a rear main seal, which would typically be
tackled during a clutch job.

Hey, stupid question.

What's the big metal gasket on the "rear" of the oil pan called? Not
toward the rear of the car, but to the rear of the engine.

C'mon, you know what I mean ;^).

I have some oil seeping out from around this thing, and figure it may
actually have been torqued down too tight at some point. Make sense to
anyone?

I'm thinking of replacing it when I do my rod bearing (since the pan
will be off anyway). Suggestions for where to buy a new one?

Thanks,
