[Shotimes] More Bearing fun

There's no write-up because there are so very few who have ever changed
them!

Seriously, from those that have inspected them it appears they wear at a
rate less than half that of the rod bearings, so they should be good
until at least you need rod bearings again.

Those that have inspected them have definitely NOT removed trannies or
subframes, FYI.

Good luck.

Now my question is about the main bearings. I have the 95 ford cd and
was
looking up directions for replacing the main bearings but the directions

want you to remove the transmission and subframe and such. Is this
really
necessary or is there a simpler way to do it? Also is their a write up
on
the web anyplace?
