My UDP's were from the SHO Shop, and were Hypertech, and
have been great and trouble free for probably close to
100,000 miles.
These rumors about the Hypertech harmonic balancer pullys
have persisted, but in talking with the company in a frank
and open way "back then" they admitted there were some that
had a problem VERY early on, but they made changes and
solved the problem. MOST Hypertech UDP's have had no
problems at all. I got mine pretty early, so it must have
been the REAL early ones that had the problem.
