When I purchased my '89, I was skeptical about the mileage, but I bought it
anyways.  I did the carfax after I bought it and the stated 78,000 miles was
dead on.  The last Air Care (emissions testing) done on it had been 3 months
prior to my purchase, showing about 600 miles on it between that date and my
purchase.  So it's not impossible to find low mileage '89s.  It just not may
be common.  From seeing this, I just may try and get myself a third one in
the garage...  :)  Not sure if I'd want another L. Titanium, though...2 is
enough I think

Definitely get a Carfax.  The plates date to about 2000.  And you gotta be
skeptical about the miles.
