[Shotimes] CMP

Oil inside the CMP is due to a leaking rear cam seal.

The CMP (CID) sensor is a Hall effect switch. It works by interrupting a
magnetic field (that's what the vane on the camshaft does). It can best be
tested in circuit with a voltmeter, with the ignition on, and the engine
rotated by hand. The output voltage should make one complete cycle of zero
to twelve volts and back to zero in one rotation of the camshaft (two crank
rotations). If you wish, you can kludge together a test setup using a 12 V
supply and bench test it however, testing it in the car is simpler.

Or just replace it, about $30 from AutoZone.

Make sure you inspect the pins in the wiring harness connector. They have a
tendacy to either push in or to corrode (or both).
