Hello, I was planning on putting in a 3.2 in my sho and i now have a
completely disassembled 3.0.....and a 3.2 with heads in place and cams
removed....
Can i theoretically just swap all of the cam works? Such as the cam, shims,
and all that straight to the 3.2 heads without worrying about a valve
adjustment? I have had the 3.0 adjusted right before it came out of the car.
The 3.0 heads are still whole but without valve cover and removed from the
block.
I want to do the cheapest 3.2 transplant....
Should i
A) Remove the 3.2 heads (which are still in place untouched without cams)..and
swap the whole head from the 3.0 or
B) Remove the cams from the 3.0 heads ( which are removed from the motor but
cams in place) and put those on the 3.2 heads which are still on the block
untouched...
Just wondering what the gurus think....
