It will probably not work.  The valve seats in the heads, the valves
themselves, the buckets, the shims, the cams, the cam journals- all add up
to determine the valve clearances.  If you change any one of those elements
you can throw off the valve adjustment- especially if you move a cam to a
new set of valves.  Now you might just get real lucky but I would suspect
that you will have to change some or all of the shims.
