One other thing I forgot to mention.  The SHOTIMES write-up suggests a
14mm deep socket with thin walls.  My 14mm socket just wasn't the right
size, but a 9/16" deep socket worked just perfectly as good alternative. 
I lost about 45 minutes just trying to figure this out.

One reason this type of information is handly is because there is no
information on what tools or procedure to use when you buy the FORD
replacement antenna mast.
