Great job Joe.  I can't think of how the hub might have cracked, maybe the
previous owner hit a curb or something.  However, I can tell you that I've
had a cracked ABS ring once on my 92.  This caused the Anti-Lock light to
come on.  It was tough to diagnose but had gotten help from this list.  Had
to carefully inspect the rings to make sure they were whole.  This was
before I knew how to pull codes and had also gone as far as blindly
replacing the sensor cable.  That's when I found out how horrible the road
salt from the NE was in terms of freezing the sensor in knuckle.  Had to
destroy both sensors to get them out.
