Dave: "I replaced the windshield in my 94 ATX. I had a used one, but
couldn't get the weatherstripping that goes around it. That comes with the new
windshield, which I got for $187 installed ... ps I did find a place to get the
weatherstripping later, but it would have been $125.00 for just that alone."

Y'all anticipated my problem -- as always. My Gen2's windshield stripping is
messed up kinda weird. At the top corners (passenger side especially) it's
"everted" or twisted inside out in a forwards direction like there's too much
tension on the outside lip, causing it to pull away from the body and pout
forwards, sort of like one-half of a, well never mind.

I figured on just changing that strip before much longer because the glass is
fine. Now it sounds like it'll most likely have to be "all or nothing" since
the RUBBER* is so expensive on its own. (I'm not rash enough to try this
myself in the parking lot BTW.)

So OK, I'm fine with that but in the meantime what's up with this stripping
anyway? Is there any way to heat or beat it back into compliance? Last resort
I can squirt everything full of silicone glop and try to duct tape it down
till it sets. Any more elegant suggestions? TIA

* More like VINYL if you ask me, which is why I'm not that surprised to see
it warping like unto an over-microwaved cheap tupperware lid.
