And in addition to Randy's Racemart, and Don's link for Racers Wholesale, I
have also purchased from here:

http://www.helmetcity.com/

I needed a new SA helmet in '99 for the Road Atlanta Convention event, as my
Simpson full-face Snell M1985 helmet was no longer "legal" (turns out nobody
checked helmets at the event anyway!!). Got a Bell M2 SA1995, as I thought
that I would have my motorcycle back on the road, and the wider eye opening
of the M2 is great for cycle riding.

Well, I never have gotten the bike back out! The M2 will be good for when I
do, but I will go with an open-face for track events, and not just because
of this SCCA & Ford thing. It would just be more comfortable in the car, and
they are easier to get on & off. Oh, and they are cheaper!!

Another good business for helmets is:

www.racerwholesale.com

They claim guaranteed lowest prices, I have dealt with them
for years.

The G-Force is a good helmet, but for just a few bucks more
I like the Simpson brand. They make a very nice looking
open fact that the NASCAR types liked before they started
going to full face helmets there.

I just bought a modified full face helmet last year after
owning open face for all the previous auto related events.

Now thanks to Ron (and the SCCA), I will have to consider
retiring that helmet early and going back to full
face...thanks a lot!

(Just a joke!) :)

REally I didn't like the full face anyway, and was about to
go back to open face, so this is a good excuse to do that
early.

BTW, if anyone does have a nice used helmet that is out of
date that they want to donate for the charity auction helmet
at the convention, I am looking for a donation, because I
probably won't give up my nearly new custom painted full
face just yet.
