UPDATE : RE: [Shotimes] Anyone Heard of a Sub Frame Bushing
Recall?

I called a dealer today and they told me that it was
not outstanding on my VIN. He could not tell me when
it was done, but that no safty recalls were
outstanding and that there was no expiration date on
Saftey Recalls. So given I did not get all the
information I wanted I called another dealer who seems
to be lazier than the first and he gave me an 800
number to call 800-392-3673. After four levels of
menus the person that actually answered the phone was
quite helpful and told me exactly where and when the
recall service had been performed. Turns out it was
done 4/30/99 at the lazy dealer's shop.
So, I guess I am out of luck. Need to drop the
subframe, replace bushings and possibly hardware. A
quick look at the shotimes website and my Haynes
manual did not produce any hits on tips or tricks to
bushing replacement. Any advice? Estimate on time
required or tools needed? Given my only mod is a
superchip, I would venture to say I would just go for
the standard Ford replacement bushings rather than
performance ones. Thoughts?
Thanks for all you comments so far.
