[Shotimes] true dual exhaust

The dyno that Borla used at that time was one that has since
been documented as giving out false readings to many
companies. This was before the popular, accurate and
affordable Dynojet chassis dyno. Chassis dyno's up to that
time could be made to give just about any result the
operator wanted.
This one dyno shop did a lot of work for Borla and other
aftermarket companies and has since been found to be giving
false high readings. This had the effect of having other
companies selling hop-up parts to come to them for a "good"
result.
No exhaust system is worth 30+ HP on the SHO, or almost any
other car. Some very high HP vehicles can benefit from
custom exhaust more than others, but 30 from a cat back only
is just about impossible.
