I agree. I've been the passenger in a few different SHOs (including
my own, rarely) and greatly prefer to have the full power seat. I
don't know how much it weighs, and I don't care. I like it.
If anybody is so concerned about weight they have bigger fish to fry
than the power passenger seat. Hell, it's easy enough to swap if
someone's building a lightweight racer.
Besides, with a full power driver's seat and a manual passenger seat
the 50/50 balance (left to right) would be messed up. That's
unacceptable.
If I had that kind of weight differential I'd have to start removing
stuff from the left side. Lug nuts, wheels studs, etc.
Oh, never mind. I forgot about the imbalance due to my 220-lb. fat
ass in the driver's seat <grin>.
