This whole bringing back brit car companies or car companies in general
seems to be a losing battle. Jensen Motors had a beautiful car they were
coming out with...........Still Born I think 11 of them were built and 6
more in parts. (huge Jensen fan I own a 69 Interceptor) Seems Bristol
is trying to launch a come back that will probably die. MG well that
ones dead. Seems the Brit companies either die or get bought by an
American company that waters them down. I see the return of Packard has
gone nowhere at the Centennial in 99 Big talk of the new Falkner powered
V12 Packard.........Car never showed up but the guy that now owns the
right to Packard presold about 8 Million worth of them. Anyone seen the
Studebaker SUV yet??? Or did that one die too. The only thing old thats
coming back and staying is Bikes. Indian, Triumph, Royal Enfield, I hear
Norton is on the rebound, Hendrson came back for a bit. I don't think
you can ever capture the original magic! You can slap GTO on any plain
jain car but it will never be a GTO, That's why the SHO will never come
back hard to get the magic of the first gen SHO ever again...look how
bad it got after 93 ATX BAD IDEA.
