I ran into a Ford engineer at a Watkins event who work with the
SHO development. He told me when Ford sent the engine spec to
Yamaha they wanted no more than 15 engine defects per 100.

Yamaha wrote back saying they could not meet that milestone. The
worst engine they ever built only had 11 defects per 100 built.

Way to raise the bar Ford ;)
