You might not have it, but EGR will cause this sort of a CEL, when the manifold
passages are starting to get plugged up.  The DPFE sensor doesn't see what it wants
to see regarding the quantity of flow of EGR gas doing what it should.

It could also be O2 sensors beginning to lag enough to trigger a light.  They get
slower and slower in their rich/lean switching signals to the computer as they get
old.
