Duh:
I conceed to those that have actually done the interference check. (I hate
it when logic fails...)
Don't the +.020 and +.040 cams have thicker valve lash caps that are added
somewhere? On top of the valve stem? and beneath the lash cap? I forgot
about those. That must be enough to make it an interference engine.
How thick are they? Anybody know?
Although I've worked on alot of engines, not many used that setup. Wrenching
on a SHO is definately a a lifetime learning experience!!
