[Shotimes] 92 MTX fluid capacity

I doubt that Ford has records on that, but I would say it is safe to assume
that 100% of '92s have composite, and probably 90%+ of '91s, with only some
very early '91s with brass. Being later in the model year, all Plus models
would have composite.
The tranny I had out of the '91 flat-out would not shift with Mobil 1.
Cheapo AZ gear oil worked the best (after trying a few different lubes). It
may have been a very early '91 tranny, r the '91 had a replacement installed
at some point.
The fluid is easy enough to change. Just basically keep trying stuff until
you find one that shifts well.

I wonder if Ford's BOM system has the break-in date for that EC. I wasn't
sure of the actual cutover. I thought Doug Lewis once said sometime in 92
MY once. But I can say that ATF does work better in my tranny than MTL
because I went with the latter not understanding the difference in parts.
Only after I got the 3.2 and DonD installed the drain plug and put the new
fluid in did I realize the difference. You literally can shift the car
with 2 fingers.
