I'll ditto the stock stainless exhaust pipes for having a lot of longeveity.
My 'ol '89 had 280k on the original front pipe, cats, & mid-pipe up to the
muffler entrance.
IIRC only 1 or 2 sets of replacement mufflers from muffler shop..
I did have to weld on a new flange between pipe 1 & 2,
and I got a new resonator with the rod shifter conversion kit.
