Subject: [Shotimes] Rear brake caliper reassembly!

Hi,

I've powder coated my brakes on my 95 MTX and I disassembled
the rear calipers so I could cook them at 400F. Well,
reassembly is not easy. Putting the snap ring in place is
terrible. I got one in but it took several hours and I had
to grind on my snap ring plyers to get them to fit in the
bore at all.

Any words of wisdom on this? I'm using an old craftsman
2 bolt wheel puller to compress the spring. It's pretty
close to the picture of the ford compressor in the
manual.

Any source for better snap ring plyers?

Thanks!

Ed
