[Tigers] Ignition

This happened to me a few months after I bought my Tiger in 2000.
Check the battery ground and positive cables for corrosion. If the
stranded cable gets a lot of corrosion gunk built up it will pass
enough current to run the pump and light the ignition warning light,
but when you turn the key to start it the resistance goes way up and
everything goes black.

I was out in my Tiger (picking up take out at Outback) when this
happened to me. Tried a jump start from a good samaritan, but no
luck. Eventually called for a tow truck and was able to troubleshoot
it back home. Took a week before I discovered the corroded ground
cable and replaced it.

Good luck!

Keep on Tigering!
