Chris

                A very good point.

Different manufactures have slightly different hues and even different car companies have different hues for British Racing Green.

Having a current color code # gives you a good starting point, one which the paint shop can manipulate to the color on the car if needed.

A couple years ago at the TE/AE United, I entered my car in the stock concours category just to get some tips on originality for my car. There were three of us there with Code 86 cars, and we were all very different colors. In the stock category! And while I was pinged a whole point for missing a wiring clip, none of us were pinged for having the wrong color. So I'm not sure you'll get a straight answer on the true 86 hue.

Thank you for your reply, great info this is a # my local paint shop can recognize.

Forest Green - 86 – GS280

Here is one I received a long time ago for Commodore Blue which the local paint shop said they could make

Commodore Blue – 106 – BS616A H

Thanks again

Ron
