For all of you new to Team.Net - it's the original on-line British car
community. It dates back *before* the Internet was commercial - the days of
.edu and .gov. and a few .coms...

Team.Net (Team-dot-net) is a non-profit, world wide group of thousands of
auto enthusiasts, joined together by their common interests, and the
internet. It was started as the Auto-cross and Rally mailing lists around
1989, and soon added the British Cars list. It has now grown to be the
center of grassroots automotive activity on the Net. It is the home of many
automotive Mailing Lists <http://www.team.net/www/tn-mail.html>, Web
Pages<http://www.team.net/www/>,
ftp archives <http://www.team.net/www/archives.html>, and more.
The team.net internet domain name was first registered on April First,
(Yes, April Fools Day!) 1991. Before that, we hosted the Scions of Lucas
(SOL) British cars list on various donated email servers. I maintained the
accompanying SOL web pages for over 10 years (unfortunately now very out of
date), and Mark Bradakis has been hosting the site and ESPECIALLY the email
lists for more than 20 years. (you can donate, especially when he sends out
his annual plea for funds)

Mark now hosts dozens of great auto-related and non-related lists - for
free. The lists see occasional outages, but by and large are available, and
SPAM FREE.

Safety Fast!

Roger
