[Zmagnette] Front Quarter Light / Vent Window Rubber Molding

Hi,

 

I need the rubber molding for the front quarter light / vent
windows.  My research has produced
the following information & I am having a difficult time understanding the
discrepancies in pricing and questioning the functionality & quality as
well (since one supplier offers the molding in two pieces instead of just one).
These particular moldings are pretty intricate and if they aren’t any good, or
if they aren’t installed properly, I foresee water leaks and wind noise in my
future so please help! 

 

Lou offers the pair of moldings at 149 pounds

 

Metro Molded offers the pair of moldings (P/N 6501) for $150

 

NTG offers the molding (4 pieces in all) as two vertical
strips with separate left hand & right hand curved sections at a total of
roughly 74 pounds

 

I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for.  Ordinarily I would buy from Lou, no
questions asked but at these prices, I think it’s valid to ask a few questions.


 

Has anyone used any of these moldings and can you make a
recommendation regarding which is the best buy or suggest a better
alternative?  Any specific
installation instructions and other molding advice would be most welcome.
