[Zmagnette] Oil Filter

There is one premium brand (maybe more than one) that has a nut on the
bottom for getting the wrench to it..probably about a 1" nut size..look for
it. Don't you have one of the belt type filter wrenches??
Having said that, been in your place too, ended up literally tearing the
filter off the base with the filter belt type wrench and had to chisel off
the base very carefully and even then run the thread chaser up the pipe to
get things nice and smooth again so could use another canister throw away
filter..better quality that time.

Having just done a grease and oil change on my '58 ZBV this afternoon, the
spin on oil filters can still be difficult! I couldn't get it loose so used
a filter spanner which tore a hole in the filter and ended up with just as
much /more oil every where as I did changing the cartridge type oil filter
in the past! I always try so hard not to tighten the new filter too much!!
I have a Moss adapter and had no issue with the pipes.
