On my BT7 there is a round hole on the inside of the car above my left knee. This hole is directly opposite the attachment area for the fresh air ducting. When I took the car apart, it had a wire screen covered with aluminum foil over the hole. The parts lists shows a flange for the hole, which looks to me like it has a large hole in it. If so, it seems to me the air would not be distributed throughout the cold box and the passenger would realize no benefit from the spring loaded vent just above the passenger's knees. The flange seems to be unavailable.
Before I cut a plate to screw over the hole, I thought I would ask the list what actually fits there.
Thanks,Larry Swift
Larry,
There's a screen mesh located over the hole held by a zinc plated ring fastened by 3 phillips pan head sheet metal screws. See att'd pics.
