I'd agree with that by about a zillion or two percent!

About the "only" book I have seen <and Have> on Alpine
history is called, I believe "Alpine, the Classic Sportscar"
by Chris McGovern. It has been out of print for some time
now, and I have pledged to snatch a copy up for T.J. in
Alabama if ever I see one for sale anywhere.

I'll thumb through it when I get a chance and see if it
says anything about the exhaust/induction changeover.
