I don't know if your car is different, but on my Series I
I have replaced the clutch by removing the transmission
only (non-OD). It was pretty easy that way...

***** NOTES from JLAIFMAN (JLAIFMAN (at) PNM) at 8/17/95 11:39a
Kevin,
Did you have to tilt the engine down considerably to get the trans
out? Or did it slide out straight back? I think if I had to drop the
engine much, my Webers would hit the steering box. Also, you mentioned
that the trans was non-OD. Is this procedure not possible with an OD?
The reason that I ask is that I have an OD to put in and I have not done
so because I have not wanted to pull the engine at this time. If pulling
the trans out the back will work, I could do it sooner.
