As I recall (from 5 years ago), I didn't have to tilt the engine
TOO much to allow the tailshaft of the tranny to drop down so
that it could be pulled free. I didn't even loosen anything
in the engine compartment - big mistake. I had to fix the
upper radiator neck where it cracked from the strain. So
make sure anything that won't give when the engine is tilted
back is removed first! I've only had experience with the
non-od trans in my car, but it sounds like the od could be
removed in the same way...
