I believe that the block was interchangable with other Rootes
products, maybe that's what you have? My SI has dual Zeniths
and the aluminum Sunbeam valve cover, so that much sounds correct.
You can get a copy of the repair manual from Sunbeam Specialties
at (408)371-1642. You'll get a lot of pros and cons regarding
an engine swap. The original engine can be reliable enough
for everyday use (mine was!), and I prefer originality but
that's just my thing ;-) Ask Frank Marrone about his PintoPine
for the alternative viewpoint (how's the project going, Frank?).
I've seen intriguing rotary and electric conversions as well...
