Sounds like you haven't gotten all the air out. Rebleed the system.
Also check to make sure the slave isn't installed incorrectly. It's
kinda embarrassing to admit but I installed the slave upside down on
my snake. This put the bleeder valve below the inlet line making it
nearly impossible to bleed all the air out.
