My steering has a lot of "play." I never really noticed it before
until my dad acquired a SIV that has real tight steering. I replaced
the tie rods as will as the king pins, trunions (sp?), etc. about 8
years ago. Do I need to do this again, or is there a way to adjust the
steering box with those shims?
Since I completed the last job, the alignment has never been quite
right even after several trips to NTW. Is there anything I can do
about the alignment? I am thinking about letting the local British car
fixer take care of everything. Any comments?
