I just spoke with Rick about racing Alpines. He was not aware of this
owner/racer - though I don't believe Rick was involved with the cars
then. He did say that for it to be worth something as a "true" Sunbeam
race car, it would need to have aluminum panels. Also, he said it was a
shame about the Tiger rear-end because it is too heavy for the car and
the real Alpine rear-end for racing was a nice posi-traction.
