Metalastik

As you know, I have the engine out of my Series V. While the engine is
out, I am tiding up some of the other parts that are harder to access
when the engine is in. One of these is my steering cross tube. At
first I tried to buy a new one, but learned that they are no longer
produced. But, Sunbeam Specialties had new bushings for my old tube.
Great - they're cheaper. I received the shipment about a week ago.
This weekend I went to replace the bushings and I could not find my
replacement parts. I searched for hours. But, they're gone. I would
buy more except, during my search, I ran across what I believe is the
original style bushing. It is a Metalastik 13/930. It is slightly
tapered and has a metal insert. The bushings I got from the Sunbeam
place did not have the metal insert and was not tapered which leads me
to my question - Does anyone know where to get another one of these
bushings? Has anyone heard of Metalastik? I just need one - actually
three because I want to replace them in the Series III also.
