Hey, folks, lighten up. Some of us are lucky enough to have some spare
parts lying around - some of us aren't. I can speak from experience about
being between a rock and a hard place... that's how I lost all THREE of my
Tigers. It was just through pure stubborness that I kept my Alpine and my
camper..... that, and the fact that they had gotten ratty-looking enough that
they weren't worth much!
Most of my good spares went with the Tigers to sweeten the deal. But
I'll look through what I have left to see if there is anything on Mike's list
that I have extra. I have always considered Sunbeam owners to be, above all
else, understanding of one and other, and eager to help. I've seen the TVR
club first hand, and have started dabbling in MG, and I can say that we have
the better people by FAR!
Maybe there's a lister who lives nearby, and can help with someplace
to store the car until he can make some progress. There are a lot of us -
surely we can think of something to help a fellow 'Beamer keep his pride and
joy.

and still, some weeks it's "do I buy groceries this week, or _________ for
the car.....", (insert the item in need of most.)
