Fellow Alpine enthusiast:
This is a desperate plea for HELP!! My name is Michael McKay and I
am the proud owner of a 1963 Sunbeam Alpine Series III. Unfortunatly my
"Baby" hasn't been running for over 3 years. I am a single parent of two
daughters and fiancially I just havn't been able to put a dime into my
Alpine. I have gone to great expense to just hang on to it, in the dreams of
some day getting it back on the road and restoring it.
Recently I have been told, buy my Land Lord, to either fix it or get
rid of it :o( These are the things that I need and need to be done:
Things needed:
New distributor
New carburetors(Zenith) or an intake manifold for a single 4-barrel
New radiator
New Seats
New chrome letters and parts
New rubber door and window parts
Things that Need to be Done:
Some body work
Full paint job
Strighten and re-chrome bumpers
Re-chrome hub caps
Any parts or contributions would be APPRECIATED GREATLY!!!! This is
no scam, please don't send any contributions payable to me. I have selected
a place close to where I live to do any work needed, it is: R&M Classic
Cars. Their address is: 172 Laurel, Redwood City, CA 94063
Anyone responding to this letter will be notified of my progress and
sent Before and After photos. This is a last ditch effort to keep my Sunbeam
PLEASE help me in any way you can. Any advise would also be helpful.
Sincerely,
Michael McKay
