I don't really know haven't got that far yet. Checked the archives and
it seems as if we never developed a good thread on wheel/tyre size or a
roll call of lister's tyre size.
Currently, I'm running 175/70x13 and I think the diameter (596mm?) is
shorter than orginal stock (600? - engine speeds seems to indicate that
current D is much more shorter than original). I would like to increase
the D by getting 14 inch rims and using lower profiles tyres for
handling.
My review of the archives revealed two extremes:
1) a 205/60x13 (574x204?) extreme width, which apparently needed some
unspecified mods on the rear (spacers?); and,
2) a 185/70x14 (624x186) extreme height - not sure if mods or spacers
needed.
Any others? I'm more interested in the latter for everyday usage - not
sure if it would actually fit. Also, would a 185/65x15 (~621x185?) fit?
How 'bout a 195/65x14 (~609x195?)?
Hopefully, we can get a decent thread going to "settle" the wheel/tyre
size issue.
