I have three SV alpines and none of them has a brake booster. The
driver has a Ford 2.3 L transplant so I don't need to be original, just
functional. I plan to make one out of the remaining two and although
the vin numbers on the engine and body won't match I want to keep this
one close to original. The running car with the engine transplant is
too hard to stop to turn over to my daughter. What booster is
recommended for this car? On the 1+1=1 project; does anyone have
rebuildable equipment for sale?
On the 1+1=1 project I have both spline and bolt on hubs. However the
wires on the splines are PAINTED! I have never seen painted wire
wheels! Is there chrome underneath the paint??? Can one get wire
wheels rechromed for less than the national debt?
