I wonder why the PO had *six* spare sets of new (still in the bags) points
then.
I won't say too much because I'm not even sure the dizzy on my car is stock
- it may well be one from a Tatra and he had to import the points from
Czechoslovakia....
Once people get back from the nationals I'll see if anyone here knows the
history of my car. From the old SA plates that came with the car I would
guess it was delivered new in SA.

I've never had problems getting gaskets or points sets here in Brisbane,
Paul. My local auto spares shop often has Rootes service items in stock
and anything they don't have can generally be ordered in in a day.
