Yup - 30 wt _non_-detergent motor oil is the stuff to use. As the name
implies, detergent oil is designed to mildly foam up and clean out combustion
byproducts from the engine. The tranny doesn't have that problem, so the
foaming builds up and makes it difficult to shift after a hot, hard run.
If you have leaky seals, a heavier oil might be in order, but the ease of
shifting will diminish.
Use the 85-95 gear oil in the differential.
