The early shock are the lever type, and they mount with 2 bolts that go
through the inside of the wheel well about 1 foot avove the center of
the
axle. The pivot and pivot link will connect to a hole drilled in the
top
spring plate.
Series III and up floor pressings should NOT have the appropriate
indentations and holes in the body for mounting the early lever shocks,
which may be why you are asking.
