May I offer some dissent?
I have ordered from Victoria British on occassion (I just placed a new
order so I hope I"m not wrong!) and I've had no problem with them. Once,
when a couple of parts I ordered didn't quite work as advertised, they
took them back and credited my account with very little hassle.
I've also done loads of business with Sunbeam Specialties through the
years and have never had any kind of problem with them or Rick, the
owner. They are always very courteous and Rick is one of the more
knowledgeable Sunbeam people around. If this is the vendor refered to as
to having supplied valves not up to par, I am sure this is a bizzare
fluke as many friends have also done lots of business with SS and never
had any kind of problem.
The other supplier I have dealt with is Tiger Tom, and again, I've never
had anything but the best service from him. Another very knowledgeable
guy who is happy to answer questions.
I've never dealt with Curt but have not ever heard any negatives on him
either.
That's my two (or less) cents worth.
