What Series? On my Series V seats, the backing goes all the way to the
bottom where the fabric is folded around the end and screwed to the
bottom of the seat. On Series I seats, the bottom six inches of seat
back appears to be a metal plate under the fabric,and the cardboard
seems to go under it where they meet.Hope this helps!
