I find this PSI-fixation interesting. I could get 50+ PSI just by going
to heavy-weight engine oil (which many BritCar owners seem to do), but
at the cost of more-extreme wear on (cold) starting. I could also get
50+ PSI by narrowing my oilways.
So, PSI is only part of the story, an indirect measurement of what we
would like (lots of oil flow) derived from the measurement of one
variable (the pressure of that flow). Sort of like the way the layman
worries about voltage and forgets amperage...
