 MR Trent,
Thankyou for trashing the subject line as in previous posts. It will now
be totally oblivious to anyone trying to follow the thread in the Sunbeam
Alpine Archives.
For an inspiring engineering type as yourself, the comments made about
higher voltages to the coil show an alarming lack of knowledge of
electromagnetics. As both Jarrid in some of his posts from a couple of
months ago (found in the archives, I might add) has pointed out and also
the Rootes light range car manual describe, there are many things that
affect the output of the coil to the plug. Input voltage is not normally
one of them.

I guess you can consider this a mild annoyance flame.
