Well not exactly apparantly there is gravity in California too !
I had an excellent time in California and met up with some Sunbeamers there
Jack and Ruth Bash and on the Laguna Seca raceway with some other Sunbeamers:
Hello Fred Howard are you here too ?
and I had a look at two of the Le Mans Tigers cars at the Sunbeam stand in the paddock
which was great.
I also saw the Pebble Beach concours which is really amazing, such a high
quality of cars, for sure the best concours in the world !?
The I had the time to visit the blackhawk "Behring" automuseum which is a hit too,
black marble on the ground spotlights on the cars and classical music on the
background very stylish indeed !
And of course I had a look at Sunbeam Specialties and spoke with Mick McCloud

I am in the same position you are, faulty servo. Where in England did you
get your repair kit? How can I order one? Thanks for your time.
Incidently, I am only assuming my servo needs a rebuild since it has been
idle for nearly 18 years. How can you check?

For what I noticed I had to press the pedal pretty hard to get a bit of
brake performance.
From what I heared it should be possible to lock the wheels up when the
servo is properly working.
And I noticed the revs went up when keeping the brakes applied, so
through the servo unit and filter some extra air gets in the manifold
but I don't know weather that is correct or not.
I think a common fault could be that condensation will form rust inside
the drum and so the piston will get stuck.
I don't know weather there are any other particular things which I have
to look for just the regular things like checking the piston bores and
seals.
