Over bore pistons and rings are available in .020, .030 and .040.

If you are going to slap sloppy pistons on the cleaned up bores,
use the next ring up, and file to the correct gap.

Be prepared for a lot of piston slap and noise.

Ive seen people run new rings in engines with clearances as sloppy
as .010.
Sounds like a thrashing machine cold, but doesnt seem to hurt
oil consumption too much.
