I had a front valance that was constructed almost exclusively
out of bondo. When it all came off, there were sheets of bondo
more than a half inch thick that werent even backed by metal.
The whole front end of the car was really distorted, and the hood
had been cleverly bent to match the shape. Only minor irregularitues
could be seen, but one day while taking a "test" drive, the hood
blew off the car hinges and all.
A new hood from a friend showed that the front end was massively
damaged.
A new front clip and a valance from a "gulp" Tiger, and the car now
is pretty straight in the front.
