What about the thickest bondo ever installed by one of us? When I was a
young lad I was fixing a dent in my '66 Chevy Malibu. The dent was
inaccessible from inside the trunk so it got filled...as I recall about
2" deep. It doesn't matter anyway because months later someone hit and
run my beautiful black Malibu and totalled that same side.
PS I painted that car too. I borrowed a paint gun from a fiberglass
shop. They neglected to mention it had been used to spray resin and had
the wrong nozzles for paint. Me, dumb at 19 knew no better and the
paint kinda ran off the car.
